Introduction: Arms & Armor Project for HST 285 Samurai
Students will use this website to upload information about the history of samurai arms and armor (as well as a few other things) to prepare for our field trip to the Met, and also to gain some familiarity about the tools used by Japanese warriors. Each "exhibit" should include some information about the history and evolution of the objects, and should provide you and your classmates with information that they will find informative on our trip and also as we continue to read a variety of textual sources and view several films about the samurai. The site will remain "live" throughout the term, so that you may consult it whenever you wish!
