Frederick the Great's "Political Testament"
- Title
- Frederick the Great's "Political Testament"
- Description
- A personal work to be given to Frederick's son, this work details his many views on all areas he deemed relevant to leadership of the Prussian nation. One of these, his attitudes towards the existence of a Polish state, is an early example of anti-Polish sentiment. Comparing the nation to "artichoke" to be eaten "leaf by leaf," these feelings reflect a general outlook from contemporary Germans towards Slavs. This idea would be expanded upon in the field of Ostforchung before the Second World War.
