- My Experience
- For the past year and a half I have worked as a food delivery driver for Uber Eats. During this pandemic I have continued to work, as delivery drivers are deemed essential workers who are continuing to help restaurants stay afloat during this time when dining in is prohibited. Because my county, Rockland County, has seen the highest number of cases in the entire United States per 100,000 residents, I love seeing the surge of orders from local restaurants, as my community rallies around supporting small businesses. Additionally, I deliver anywhere from 5-10 meals a day to hospitals in the area, and am proud to help those who are on the front lines. Pictured here is my hand sanitizer I got from Wicker Wellness Center before I left from campus! It is essential that I'm always making sure my hands stay clean, as I come in contact with anywhere from 40-60 people a day.
